  • These two seminars are in collaboration with Réseaux.  Francis Dhomont and Annette Vande Gorne will hold their talks from 3:00-5:30pm in McGill University (Room A832, New Music Building, 527 Sherbrooke St West).

Music Perception and Cognition Student Colloquium Series

  • May 3 from 14:30 to 18:00 in A832, New Music Building, 527 Sherbrooke St West.
These meetings are invaluable opportunities for graduate students and postdocs whose work relates to perception and cognition to establish contacts with colleagues from neuroscience, psychology, musicology and music theory as well as for obtaining feedback on their own work.

    CIRMMT Student Lunch-time Colloquium on Music and Technology

    The next CIRMMT Student Lunch-time Colloquium on Music and Technology is taking place on Tuesday 10 April from 12 to 1pm. 

    All CIRMMT students are welcome at this lunch-time meeting to discuss current research, solicit feedback from your peers, present overviews of literature in one area, or anything else that interests you. 

    We are currently seeking students to present and/or choose a topic and lead the discussion. If this sounds like something you'd like to do, e-mail TrevorKnight [at] gmail.com. Sandwiches will be provided.
