February 12, 2015 - Eckart Altenmüller, Apollo's gift and curse: Acquisition and loss of skilled movements in musicians

  • This lecture will take place from 16:30 to 18:00 at McGill University (Tanna Schulich Hall, New Music Building, 527 Sherbrooke St West), followed by a reception in room A833.

January 22, 2015 - improv@CIRMMT

  • The improv@CIRMMT nights are a new series of concerts devoted to electro/acoustic improvisation with musicians from the CIRMMT community.
  • The first night is on Thursday January 22nd 2015 (9:00-11:00pm), and will take place at Café Resonance (5175a Av. du Parc, Mile End).

Prix Opus logolive@CIRMMT concert 'De souffles et de machines' nomitated in three categories for Prix Opus

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the live@CIRMMT concert from 26 and 27 March 2014 has been nominated in three categories for a Prix Opus:
  • Concert of the year - Montreal
  • Concert of the year - Current music, electroacoustic
  • New work of the year: Les pâleurs de la lune by Pierre Alexandre Tremblay, which was part of the concerts.
