Pauline HeisterPauline Heister is Head of Music Production at the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation in Munich. During the last two decades she has produced multiple CD recordings with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra as well as with other internationally acclaimed artists. 

As Executive Producer Pauline Heister has A&R responsibility for recordings with external orchestral partners. She has co-produced with most of the major labels for Classical music such as DG, Decca, Sony, Denon, Naxos and many others. Pauline Heister is an experienced opera producer, renowned for her live recordings with the Bayreuth Festival.

After obtaining a degree in Music Production and Sound Recording in Detmold, Germany, Pauline Heister started her professional career as a Tonmeister for Sony Classical in Hamburg. After producing a large body of work in A/V-live-recording throughout Europe she became recording producer for the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and Claudio Abbado in the early 1990s.

As an educator, Pauline Heister has been a college lecturer at the University of Detmold teaching courses on audio recording of classical music. She has served as a member of the jury at various international recording competitions.

 

Guylaine Picard

Guylaine Picard is producer and coordinator at Radio-Canada in Montreal. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Montreal and a Master's degree in Music, specializing in Sound Recording, from the Schulich School of Music of McGill University.

Since 1990 Guylaine Picard has been a producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Additionally since 2002 she holds the position of coordinator of music productions at ICI MUSIQUE of Radio-Canada.

In addition to having directed numerous classical FM broadcasts, Guylaine Picard has produced several hundred recordings at various festivals, competitions, seasons and musical events across the country. She has also coordinated and directed a number of major musical productions (OSM, OM, Inauguration of the Maison Symphonique) in addition to having collaborated with the CBC team on several pan-Canadian projects (Heroes of the Piano, National Choral Competition, CBC National Radio Competition for Amateur Choirs, Rendez-vous video series, 75th of CBC / Radio-Canada).

She is also the coordinator of audio content of web classique on icimusique.ca, Radio-Canada's music website. She regularly participates in various committees and selection boards supporting the careers of young classical musicians and the production of sound recordings.
