Description

Using Floyd Toole's (consultant to Harman International, USA) Distinguished Lecture "Sound Reproduction - art and science / opinions and facts" as a point of departure, this Research Axis 1 workshop will explore numerous aspects of sound reproduction, and should be both engaging and beneficial to anyone involved in audio. The workshop will be a mixture of presentations and roundtable discussion from our panel of distinguished guests, covering a wide range of topics under the umbrella of "Sound Reproduction: art and science". 

The workshop will also feature a listening session in McGill's Studio A, to explore the technology behind JBLs new M2 Master Reference Monitors.

  • 10:30-11:30: Roundtable discussion with Floyd Toole, George Massenburg and Sung Young Kim; moderated by Will Howie.
  • 11:30-12:30: Listening session with JBL M2 speakers in McGill Recording Studio A
