Registration: Registration for workshop on usability and user experience for music information systems

Description

How do we design music information systems that provide high-quality user experiences? How do we create interfaces that are both intuitive and efficient? System designers have been struggling to create a friendly user interface for something as mundane as uploading symbolic music files to a database. This Research Axis 2 workshop will focus on usability and user experience of various types of music information systems. Presentations and discussions will focus on issues related to the development of user-centered interfaces for listening to music, creating music, viewing music scores, searching audio and symbolic music, or browsing manuscripts or scores, among other things.
