You've done the work. You have solid data and amazing results. Your conclusions will rock the very foundations of your field. But your posters always lack pizazz, and you hear more snores than questions during your presentations. You need help.
This workshop will focus on tools, techniques, and best practices for designing posters and slide presentations. Topics will include graphic design, information aesthetics, and practical advice on choosing the right tools for the job.
In a skill-share format, CIRMMT students will talk about their individual perspectives. Special guest Patrick Doan, more commonly known under DEFASTEN, a Canadian-born digital artist with a background in graphic design and architecture, will join the discussion, offering a more professional design approach.
A small reception will follow.
