CIRMMT members Catherine Guastavino and Dan Levitin receive EAA award

Catherine Guastavino, CIRMMT's Associate Director for Scientific and Technological Research, and CIRMMT member Daniel J. Levitin, and colleagues have received the European Acoustics Association (EAA) 2008 award for outstanding scientific results published recently in Acta Acustica united with Acustica for their 2005 paper “Ecological validity of soundscape reproduction” (v. 91, pp. 333-341). The award ceremony took place in Paris in July at the Acoustics ’08 Conference.
