About the Interact@CIRMMT Series

The Interact@CIRMMT Series features informal presentations by our members on various useful topics. These presentations are streamed on multiple platforms and aim to promote interaction among our community while providing our fellow researchers with tools and resources so they can continue their work.

For more information and to send in requests for presentations on particular subjects, visit the following Microsoft Teams channel - MS Teams - Interact@CIRMMT

Please note that if you do not have an @mcgill email address, you must send us an email (events[at]cirmmt.mcgill.ca) to be manually added to the channel. This restriction is only in effect because the channel was created with a McGill license of MSTeams, which does not change the fact that all are welcome to join.

HOW IT WORKS

Each Interact@CIRMMT is led by a different member presenting on a topic of their choice and on a date and time convenient to them. The platform and format (e.g., a meeting, a talk, a demo, a jam, a share-and-tell, etc.) of presentations are also flexible to best accommodate the presenter’s needs. The ideal duration is 20 minutes to 1 hour. After each event, if desired, a time for discussion can be held, allowing participants to network and exchange ideas. Once each new presentation is confirmed, an email containing all the details, including date, time, and URL is sent.
