    A PROPOS DE HEATHER ROCHE

    Heather RocheHeather Roche est née en 1983 à Victoria (Canada). Elle a étudié en Angleterre (Guildhall School of Music) et en Suisse (Basel Hochschule für Musik), et vit aujourd'hui à Cologne. Elle a donné des concerts lors de plusieurs grands festivals européens, dont musikFest(Berlin), BachFest(Leipzig), Musica Nova (Helsinki), Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, acht brücken(Cologne), International Computer Music Conference et festival Agora (IRCAM, Paris).
     
    Heather a aussi travaillé avec musikFabrik (Cologne), ensemble Garage(Cologne), ensemble interface (Berlin), the Low Frequency Orchestra (France / Royaume-Uni), et neither/nor (Toronto). Elle travaille régulièrement avec la pianiste Kate Ledger, donnant des récitals dans le Nord de l'Angleterre, en Hollande, en Allemagne et plus récemment au Portugal; leur premier disque sera publié en 2012. Heather termine présentement son doctorat à l'Université de Huddersfield (UK).
     

    ABOUT HEATHER ROCHE

    Heather Roche was born in 1983 in Victoria, Canada. She studied in England (Guildhall School of Music) and in Switzerland (Basel Hochschule für Musik) and lives now in Cologne, Germany. She has played in some of the most important European festivals for contemporary music, including musikFest (Berlin), BachFest (Leipzig), musica nova (Helsinki), Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, acht brücken (Cologne), International Computer Music Festival and Agora (IRCAM, Paris). 
     
    She has worked with musikFabrik (Cologne), ensemble garage (Cologne), ensemble Interface (Berlin), the Low Frequency Orchestra (France / UK) and neither/nor (Toronto). She also works regularly with the pianist Kate Ledger and together they have performed throughout the north of England, in Holland, Germany and most recently in Portugal. Their first recording will be available in 2012. She is currently writing her doctoral thesis at the University of Huddersfield.
