[CANCELLED] Bob Ludwig: All about vinyl

Research Seminar presented in collaboration with the McGill Audio Engineering Society

Due to unforeseen problems, this event has been CANCELLED.

ABSTRACT

The vinyl resurgence means that you, as a music professional, may have to approve a test pressing of your work. This can be a very exacting process. Bob Ludwig will show you how to do it properly. He will also discuss John Eargle's 'Performance Characteristics of the Commercial Stereo Disc' AES paper, and show a video of the Apollo/Transco Master Lacquer plant and a video tour through the disc making process as conducted at Pallas, one of the world's great vinyl plants.
