CIRMMT student Dan Steele co-releases article in Le Devoir
Ramdam Urbain is part of a series of Balades at UQAM's Coeur des Sciences where participants from the general public are led on an academic-focused tour through a part of the city led by an expert (or 2) in the field. Dan Steele worked with Romain Dumoulin, researcher and noise inspector for the Plateau, to write the tour. They focus on the potential for sounds to positively transform the city as well as the current frameworks for noise and its mitigation.
CIRMMT Student Travel Support: Round 4 applications due December 10th 2012
The deadline for applications for travel funding, for travel between January 1st and March 31st, is December 10th.

Eve-Marie Quintin and Jason Hockman win prizes at CIRMMT General Assembly
At the 2008 CIRMMT General Assembly, Eve-Marie Quintin won the prize for best oral presentation and Jason Hockman won the prize for best poster presentation. Both CIRMMT students will receive $100.
