Description

As part of the CIRMMT Distinguished Lecture series, professor Daniel Russell will give a lecture on "Animations as educational tools for understanding the acoustics of musical instruments" on March 21st 2019. The CIRMMT community will seize this opportunity to host a workshop around the broad topic of "Education in Acoustics". Students, researchers and academics will present their research and practices in this broad area and share amongst each other.

As part of the CIRMMT Distinguished Lecture series, professor Daniel Russell will give a lecture on "Animations as educational tools for understanding the acoustics of musical instruments" on March 21st 2019. The CIRMMT community would like to seize this opportunity to host a workshop around the broad topic of "Education in Acoustics". This workshop will be held on Thursday March 21st, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM  before the Distinguished Lecture. All students, researchers and academics are invited to present their research and practices in this broad area and share amongst each others.
 
To participate, presenters are invited to provide their name, affiliation, email, the title of their presentation and a 250 word abstract by filling this Google form before February 22nd, 2019.
