Description

Live coding artist-researcher and Cybernetic Orchestra director David Ogborn (McMaster University) will present a personal view of the possibilities and challenges of code as a musical interface. The talk will be punctuated by demonstrations of live coding practice, using the freely available audio programming environments Tidal, SuperCollider and extramuros. Attendees are invited to bring their WiFi-equipped laptops as there will be a chance to try out collaborative live coding together.
