Abstract
For over a decade, Schulich School of Music students have participated in the Global Leaders Program, an online learning opportunity for social entrepreneurship in music. This talk focuses on the history and development of the GLP tracing its roots in the Orchestra of the Americas on through to its present version as the Global Leaders Institute, an MBA granting institution. Building upon interviews with GLP founders, the talk investigates how the online curriculum has varied throughout the years of its development. A critical analysis of its history and social implications is also investigated.
