Abstract

MUSAiC (Music at the Frontiers of Artificial Creativity and Criticism, https://musaiclab.wordpress.com/) is an ERC project I have led since Oct. 2020. As it is wrapping up later this year, it is time to reflect on its outcomes in relation to the major changes we have seen when it comes to AI applied to music. I will discuss highlights of the project and muse about the near and far future.

Biography

Bob is Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. He has also held academic positions at the Center for Digital Music at Queen Mary University of London and Aalborg University Copenhagen. Bob has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
