The live@CIRMMT Performance Series is open to the general public and includes four to six performances per year that highlight the artistic research output of CIRMMT.

As with our Distinguished Lecture Series, members of the CIRMMT community are encouraged to meet with our distinguished artists during their stay. Members are invited to submit projects for consideration on a yearly basis.

Ear Witness

Renowned Canadian pianist Eve Egoyan has collaborated with virtuosos of sound and image Nicole Lizée and John Oswald to create 'Ear Witness', which combines aural and visual elements. Eve Egoyan will also play the disklavier, an acoustic piano equipped with a digital interface that sets off a series of images when the instrument is played. This concert is in collaboration with the Fondation Arte Musica./ La renommée pianiste canadienne Eve Egoyan a collaboré avec Nicole Lizée et John Oswald, des virtuoses du son et de l’image, pour créer Ear Witness, où se combinent éléments sonores et visuels. Eve Egoyan jouera également sur un disklavier, un piano acoustique avec une interface numérique qui déclenche des images au moment du jeu.
