Placé sous la thématique de l’exploration de l’espace sonore, le concert Spationautes (9-10 avril 2019 @ Black Box Concordia) réunira dix musiciens-improvisateurs de l’Ensemble SuperMusique (ESM) et un orchestre de huit haut-parleurs. Dans le cadre de cette conférence-démonstration, les compositeurs vont discuter de leur démarche de recherche-création et présenter les outils technologiques utilisés dans leurs œuvres : logiciels, partitions graphiques interactives, interfaces tactiles... Des extraits sonores seront diffusés en octophonie.
Under the theme of sound space exploration, the Spationautes concert (9-10 April 2019 @ Black Box Concordia) will bring together ten musician-improvisers from the Ensemble SuperMusique (ESM) and an orchestra of eight speakers. As part of this conference-demonstration, the composers will discuss their research-creation approach and present the technological tools used in their works: software, interactive graphic scores, tactile interfaces... Sound excerpts will be demonstrated in octophony.
