Different Strokes is an interactive software interface for solo computer music performance.  It has been recently used in the context of the d_verse project, a series of interdisciplinary performance and video works.  This application of Different Strokes has presented a number of challenges and has required the development of additional features, such as real-time granulation, multi-channel spatialization, and mappings to synthesis parameters.  This paper describes these updates and the lessons learned while adapting the software for use in the d_verse project.
