CIRMMT awards first round of Agile Seed Funding

Four exciting projects have received funding in the first ever round of this award.

CIRMMT is pleased to announce that the recipients of the first ever round of this funding are:

  • Annelies Bockstael (U. de Montréal) and Catherine Guastavino (McGill University) with 'Musicians and hearing protection: learning by doing?'
  • Ilja Frissen, Grace Brooks and Fili Gibbons (McGill University) with 'Portable Studio Workshops as Learning Environment'
  • Alexandre Lehmann (McGill University) and Jérémie Voix (ÉTS) with 'Preventing hearing loss in the young generation: a smart T-Shirt proposal'
  • Jérémie Voix, Rachel Bouserhal (ÉTS), Stefanie Blain-Moraes and Florian Grond (McGill University) with 'The Sensitive Ear:  a hearable accommodating hypersensitivity to sound'

The aim of the CIRMMT Agile Seed Funding is to foster the exploration of new and innovative topics, or to carry out pilot studies, amongst members across the Centre’s four research axes that could potentially lead to external funding opportunities.
