AKOUSMAtique Competition: Public Rehearsal (for students)

On the occasion of the first edition of AKOUSMAtique, the international immersive multitrack music competition of Montreal, AKOUSMA invites electroacoustic students to attend the public rehearsal of the winners.

On the occasion of the first edition of AKOUSMAtique, the international immersive multitrack music competition of Montreal, AKOUSMA invites electroacoustic students to attend the public rehearsal of the winners. On the program of this rehearsal:

  • Nicola Giannini (IT): Rebonds(2021)
  • Panayiotis Kokoras (GR): AI_Phantasy(2020)
  • John Young (UK): Le Chant en dehors(2022) 

The works will be presented in concert the next day, October 14, and judged live by a jury chaired by Robert Normandeau (composer). The members of the jury for this first edition are: Myriam Bleau (composer), Louis Dufort (composer, artistic director of Akousma), Jessica Ekomane (composer), Vincent Gagnon (audio director, Ubisoft), James O'Callaghan (composer) and Roxanne Turcotte (composer).
