Workshop on multi-sensory perception and action

This workshop is co-hosted by CIRMMT Research Axis 4 (Immersive multimodal systems) and Research Axis 2 (Musical gestures, devices and motion capture). It will take place on December 4th, in A832 (New Music Building). This workshop is free and open to all. Registration is required.

Description

This workshop will include presentations on multisensory integration in perception and action-based tasks, multisensory aspects of music performance and design and evaluation of multimodal interfaces, followed by a round table discussion.  It will include three international guests:

Marc Ernst (Bielefeld University, Germany) Ilja Frissen (IRCCyn, Nantes, France) and Etienne Corteel (Sonic Emotions Labs, Paris, France).
