Antonin Gougeon-Moisan (he/him) is a composer and sound/video designer from Montreal, QC. After studying Production Design and Technical Arts at the National Theatre School of Canada, he joined multimedia studio Mirari as a multimedia director. Over the span of 6 years, he designed sound, light and video for over 100 theatre, dance and multimedia shows and designed installations showcased in many countries. Now a Master's student at Université de Montréal in the Composition and sound art program, his artist-researcher work, sponsored by the FRQ and SSHRC, explores the musicality of spoken human voice, the intergenerational transmission of knowledge via sound and ethical creation processes in sonic documentary approaches. In the 2025 edition of the JTTP project organized by the Canadian Electroacoustic Community, Antonin was awarded the First Prize award, Martin Gotfrit and Martin Bartlett Award for live electroacoustic practices as well as the Yves Gigon Award for the most outrageous electroacoustic work, all in collaboration with Emanuel Brie. Through his creations, he weaves a sensitive dialogue between words, images, and sonic textures, giving rise to immersive and evocative works.
