As a French-Quebecois composer based in Montreal, Arzhel Morel has been working for several years on a sensitive, rigorous musical approach. Strongly inspired by modern, electronic, and contemporary music, his work reflects a desire for innovation while promoting a style of composition that is complex and expressive, yet accessible. Recently a research assistant to Prof. Andrea Gozzi, Arzhel actively collaborates on interdisciplinary projects linking music, technology, and practical research. He is currently working on a spatialized music project in which instrumental narration and spatialization come together to offer a new experience.
