Music Performance Anxiety (APM) ; Biosignals ; Latent state modeling
Master’s student in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Life Sciences, at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, Belgium.
Denis is a musician and engineer with experience in programming, signal processing, and system design, including instrumentation and real-time data communication. He contributed to the Méthastart project (StarTech finalist, 2023) and created TelesimU (2024), an educational simulation tool for digital telecommunications. He also completed an internship at Alstom (2025), focusing on gyroscope and accelerometer bias compensation in an inertial navigation system, integrating the correction model into a Kalman filter.
His current research focuses on modeling the latent comfort state of trombonists from multiple physiological and behavioral signals, combining his technical expertise with his musical experience. For more information, please see his LinkedIn profile (https://www.linkedin.com/in/denis-albrecq).
