As part of the immersive concert Un/Stitching, we invite you to an interactive workshop to discover our collective approach and our method of concatenative synthesis by corpus. This creative space, where six performers manipulate sound databases in real time, will be unveiled through an immersion in our artistic and technical process.

Program

• Discover our digital instrumentation and sound banks, both individual and shared.
• Demonstration of our method, combining gestural navigation, improvisation, and distributed composition.
• Active listening to excerpts from the work, illustrating how sound textures emerge from the coexistence of singularity and collectivity.
• Discussion on the challenges of this practice, inspired by research around Mosaïque (instrumentality, sensorimotor learning, AI).

This will be a special opportunity to explore the links between technology, creation, and collective performance, open to all members of the CIRMMT community.
