Ana Dall’Ara-Majek is a composer and sound artist living in Montreal. She is interested to the study of how instrumental, electroacoustic and computational-thinking approaches interact in music. She’s been active for composing electroacoustic/mixte pieces and performing live electronic music. She performs regularly with the ensemble ILÉA and the duo blablaTrains as an electronic musician and Theremin player.

Recent projects include: performances with the PhotoTable, a light sensors' digital music instrument (Sweden & Canada - 2019-22); and AuXauralities, an intersectoral project for the development of sound installations with meta-materials, directed by Philippe-Aubert Gauthier (Canada 2020-21).
Her work is published at Kohlenstoff Records and Empreintes DIGITALes.
She’s currently a guest professor at the Music Faculty of the University of Montreal teaching in the sector of composition and sound creation.
