CIRMMT's Research Axis 4 (Expanded Musical Practice) will hold our annual planning meeting on Wednesday, September 14, 5:30-6:30pm in Room A-832 of the Wirth Music Building (527 Sherbrooke West). This is right after Gabriel Vigliensoni's CIRMMT seminar presentation, "Rhythm modeling and music-making with latent spaces," at 4:30pm in the same room.
All CIRMMT members are welcome to attend, regardless of whether or not their main affiliation is with RA4. We will discuss choosing our two student reps for the upcoming year (from the three nominations of Erin Gee, Maryse Gagnon-Legault, and Kasey Pocius) and plans for 2022-23 RA4 workshops, events, and guest speakers. We have a modest budget for RA4 events and are already planning for guest speakers (such as Marco Fusi on September 13) and workshops around guest artist Pamela Z's visit in January.
