Workshop on Structural Analysis of Music

This workshop is organized by CIRMMT Research Axis 3 (Musical Information Archiving and Retrieval). It will take place on March 26, 2010 at 1pm. This workshop is free and open to all.

Description

This workshop is motivated by the recently awarded Digging-Into-Data grant  entitled: Structural Analysis of Large Amounts of Music Information (SALAMI). The guest speakers will include researchers from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and University of Southampton, who are co-recipients of the internationally funded grant. The workshop will introduce the project and discuss related topics.

Schedule

Each paper will be 20-30 minutes, followed by extended discussions.
