Description
This workshop will address the theme “Amplified and/or non-amplified: provoking a space as instrument.” Architectural and environmental conditions deeply influence how sound art and performance are experienced. How do composers and performers engage with space? What intentions guide our choices of amplification, sounding objects, and instruments? How do we transform constraints and affordances of specific sites into creative opportunities?
