"Smart Instruments for a Stupid Composer: How to write music for instruments that do not exist" 

This workshop will feature esteemed composer and CIRMMT distinguished lecture guest Prof. Carmine Cella (University of California, Berkeley), who will discuss techniques for composing with augmented instruments. Live musical examples will be performed by Sixtrum Percussion Ensemble.
