This workshop is presented in collaboration with the artists selected for a 5-day residency in the Multimedia Room MMR, culminating in the live@CIRMMT concert Espace connectés on Friday October 24.
Description
This workshop showcases tools for creating collaborative audio performances across networks. We look at ways of transmitting data between performers in different spaces and demonstrate tracking solutions that let participants’ physical presence influence both local and remote sonic environments.

Manuel Bolduc
Manuel Bolduc is a researcher-developer interested in various artistic applications of technology in the field of computer vision. He contributes notably to the research and development of the software LivePose, which aims to democratize the artistic use of AI for designing interactive experiences. He is also interested in generative visuals.
Zachary L’Heureux
Zachary L’Heureux is a technologist and creative developer, skilled with all kinds of digital creation equipment and software. His background, straddling both development and design, gives him a deep understanding of various multimedia systems. This diverse expertise allows him to find quick and efficient solutions to complex and varied challenges.
